TCP/IP Illustrated, Volume 1: The Protocols

Track my reading process of this book

# A Gem

The book, TCP/IP Illustrated, Volume 1: The Protocols, is a gem and truly one of the best Networking books worth reading, and reading over and over again.

At this stage, I am considering reorganizing my knowledge of the networking domain, drawing on a few years of experience in on-premises and public cloud environments. I believe that reading this will offer me valuable and insightful perspectives.

# Worst English Translation

I have read a few pages of this book in both the original English and its Chinese translation. However, I feel that the translator is either not well-versed in computer networking or not sufficiently proficient in English. I noticed numerous unacceptable translation errors in the Chinese version, which led me to give up on it and read the English version instead.
